Introducing the Lansdowne Club’s Sport & Wellbeing Facilities
At The Lansdowne Club, we know everyone’s different when it comes to their fitness needs, which is why we’re proud to offer everything you need – all in one place. You can shift seamlessly from our 25-yard swimming pool to a personal training session, or from a free-weights workout to a fencing tutorial.
The Lansdowne Club’s sports and wellbeing offering includes a range of fitness facilities, including three squash courts and a spacious exercise studio where we host hybrid classes. We’re also the only private members’ club in London to boast our own fencing salle d’armes.
It’s great to bring our Members together and offer fun and variety when we can, which is why we also offer special days of clay pigeon shooting, golf tournaments and annual sports dinners.
Whether it’s competing in a triathlon, running a marathon or simply improving your personal fitness, The Lansdowne Club is the perfect venue for your sporting needs.

Three courts, a world-class coach and winners of the Bath Cup for 10 years running, The Lansdowne Club squash facilities are hard to beat.
Enthusiasts can also enjoy our weekly Squash Club Night, squash ladder, 1-2-1 squash lessons, or join the Squash Team and take part in tournaments against other private members’ clubs.
Formerly the training centre for the British Olympic Fencing Team, The Lansdowne Club is the only private members’ club in London with our very own salle d’armes. Fencing aficionados can enjoy weekly foil and epee sessions, with the option of either beginner, group or private courses.
We also host a social Fencing Club every weekday evening, as well as holding matches against teams such as Harrow, and offering training from Olympians to international competitors.
Our original 25-yard Art-Deco pool is one of just a handful in the whole of Europe. It offers lane swimming and private sessions with our trainer, working on everything from technique to stamina.
Our sociable Swim Club meets every Monday evening, and we also hold an annual Club Gala. Like to unwind after a swim? Head for our relaxing steam room or unwind at Aqua Bar, which is also the venue for our monthly swim social.
Gym & Exercise Studio
Spread across two floors, our fully equipped gym is kitted out with state-of-the-art equipment from Life Fitness, offering something to suit all types of fitness training.
With our team of experienced personal trainers on hand, we can help you get the most out of your fitness regime. We also offer a fantastic range of classes, from Pilates and yoga to spinning in our exercise studio.
The Lansdowne Club also offers golf, skiing, snooker, and clay pigeon shooting. Members can enjoy socialising and competing against other clubs with The Lansdowne Club's Ski Team, or challenge fellow snooker enthusiasts when joining our Snooker League. As for clay shooting lovers, we offer two exciting events a year: our Holland & Holland shooting day and InterClub competition.
Keen golfers can also take advantage of our partnership with Bowood Golf Resort, one of Wiltshire’s premier golf courses.
