Member Services

As the Lansdowne Club is a Private Members' Club, membership must be applied for. We are currently accepting new members. If you would like to join the Club, you must be proposed by two current members of at least one year's standing. However, if you are unable to meet this criterion, please contact the Secretary's office for further assistance.

To obtain application forms or for further information, please contact the Secretary's office.

When we acknowledge receipt of your application form, we shall advise you of the date of the election meeting at which you will be considered for membership.

We expect your Proposing Member to show you around the Club but if this is not possible, please contact the Secretary's office to arrange a visit.

Membership Categories

  • Town - Living within a 50 mile radius (as the crow flies) of the Lansdowne Club
  • Country - Living outside the above radius and without accommodation within that radius
  • Overseas - Living abroad and with no accommodation in the United Kingdom
  • Junior & Junior Associate:
    • Junior Associate- aged 12 - 15
    • Junior - aged 16 - 20 (inclusive). Members at University continue to pay Junior subscription until they complete their course or turn 25
