May in Mayfair
Spend the month of May in Mayfair at your Club. We have a host of events to give your summer a sizzling start including a spectacular night in the Ballroom with performances of live opera over a sumptuous three-course dinner on the 30th May.
Why not spend a romantic weekend in London or a fun-filled family getaway to enjoy all the major attractions, shopping and London’s best open air markets. With a host of summertime events taking place in the capital including the Chelsea Flower Show, make more of your day in town and treat yourself to a decadent Art Deco Afternoon or Cream Tea, served Monday – Friday. Wimbledon is just around the corner and whether you are a tennis fan or simply love the great excuse to sip on Champagne with strawberries and cream, you can enjoy it all from the splendour of our Courtyard Brasserie where the live matches will be shown on big screens, whatever the weather.

Opera Black Tie Dinner

Price: £75.00 Members and £80.00 Guests
Dress Code: Black Tie

Join us in The Ballroom for a spectacular night at the Opera. Treat yourself to a night of indulgence as you are entertained with mind blowing performances by Alyson Denza, Soprano and Stuart Boother, Tenor, accompanied by Elspeth Wiles.

Social Butterfly
The new Social Scene lists all of our Club Events for the next season, in a clear and easy to read format with special hand-picked highlights for each month. For all the latest Social Scene news and reminders, follow Social Butterfly’s Tweets from the Lansdowne Club’s Twitter and Facebook pages.

Social Butterfly will transform the Social Scene notices around the Club and the monthly and weekly email newsletters. A wide variety of social events are organised to give you the opportunity to pursue a current interest or try out a new one. They are a great way to meet new faces and develop friendships.

Regular events include balls, cocktail parties, wine tastings, gourmet and themed dinners, Scottish reels, our very popular 'moveable feasts', jazz nights, bridge, fencing displays and competitions, polo days, music recitals, lectures and talks.

In addition, many interesting one-off events are arranged exclusively for our members.

Members aged under 35 also have a separate programme of events organised by their own committee.
